Welcome back to the food blog! Let's talk Hopdoddy Burger Bar. Now, Hopdoddy isn't an Oklahoma-based restaurant, but they have recently come to the Nichols Hills and Chisholm Creek areas. It took me awhile to try Hopdoddy. I was afraid it was going to be all hype without any quality. Was I ever wrong!
Let's start with the Parmesan Truffle Fries. Unfortunately, I keep forgetting to snap a photo of the fries. I guess thats a testament to how delicious they are. The fries are thin and crispy, and the seasoning makes it! If you haven't tried the Parmesan Truffle Fries yet, they are a nonnegotiable in my opinion.
Next up, is the burger. I got the Buffalo Bill. According to the menu, it has bison, hickory smoked bacon, blue whip, buffalo sauce, sassy sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion. I get mine without sassy sauce, but I'm picky about my condiments! This is currently one of my favorite burgers, because I love buffalo sauce and blue cheese.
Obviously, I saved the best for last. MILKSHAKES! So, far I've tried the Bananas Foster and Nutella Chocolate Pretzel. The Bananas Foster has cinnamon banana, salted caramel, brown butter. The brown butter makes this milkshake. It gives it a rich taste that helps balance the sweetness of the banana and caramel. As far as the Nutella Chocolate Pretzel goes, who doesn't love Nutella? This milkshake is a tasty twist on a favorite snack.
